Question Rotate tires

Hi Guys....you may/maynot know?

Still have my truck....no changes yet....rotated tires on truck.

On my TT....the trailer book says to rotate tires every 5000mi.
2 axles... 4 tires. didnt say what pattern to use.

Would it be same as on truck..front to rear (inline) rear to front?

Thanks...OT

I'd say if they're radials, same side.

How do you know when the TT has 5,000 miles?
Does the microwave have a built-in odometer?

we have never rotated our trailer tires. It seems as though on a 2 axle trailer, the tires wear evenly. But on the 3 axle, the rear tire really takes a beating. Anyway, just saying on our experince.

I hope the correct answer is, same side because I have a single axle boat trailer.

Rotate trailer tires side to side or in an x pattern for tamden axles. All tire manufacture's recomend changing the direction of rotation on free rolling tires now. Keeping the same direction of rotation is a myth.

Hmm, good question. I've got a dual axle trailer too but the tires are wearing very even, But then again the trailer doesn't have many miles on it.

On the grease on the wheels, I've got chrome but it's the same mess! I had a Buddy Bearing blow out so I replaced all four (couldn't find the same style so went with new stainless ones) and also put on the "Buddy Bra". Just a rubber cap to keep any grease from flying all over. Much better!!
