F150HD or F250?
I tend to look at things from a different perspective, way too many people are driving overloaded vehicles. Our sales staff will gladly sell you a trailer way too big for you to pull they do it every week. At work I am required to tell you just pack light and you'll be fine. My co workers often set hitch's wrong and I have to sort the mess out and make it pull. I hear it all the time you'll be fine when the fact is they won't be fine they will do OK at best and sooner or later they will will be hanging on for dear life. There are a lot of us who can safely drive a overloaded vehicle I get that what I don't get is recommending someone else do it even if we don't actually advocate them doing it by us saying we do it we imply they can do it as well.
He is looking at either a F150 with HD payload, HD tow package Eco or F250 with tow package and 6.2L, both are crew cab-4X4-Lariats. And both trucks are roughly the same price as he has them optioned.
Here is a brief back ground: First off he doesn't want a diesel. He only puts about 6000 miles a year on the truck with about 2000-2500 miles towing a 7000lb 28' camper, the rest of the miles is pretty much running empty highway miles. pin weights usually 1800's or under
