quick question

i have a 2006 f150 xlt triton with a 4.6 ( i assume the liter size off of the 10 bolt pattern on the rearend housing) i could be wrong, but ive tried fords self help but cant get it to work ,i need to know the towing capacity please,

We'd love to help you but need more info:

Trans: Auto or manual
Rear Diff: Gear Ratio
4x4 or 4x2
Cab Size- standard, extended, screw
Engine Size: 4.2, 4.6, 5.4
Long Bed-Short Bed

Without the specs we would be guessing. The low end towing in the '06 was 6000lbs up to a high of 9500lbs.
With the info given that's the best I can do.

2. Bed length?

3. 2wd or 4wd?

4. What is the 8th digit in your VIN?

5. Look on the door jamb sticker and post the following:

GVWR
Trans code
Axle code

5. Does it have a factory receiver hitch?
