Camper Tie Down
Camper Tie Down
I have a 2006 f150
I have a line on a cheap import camper I know I'll need to build a lift in the box so the camper seats higher but I'm wanting to know what your guys are using for a tie down right now I'm looking at a Tork lift tie downs which are removable
What do you have and Is it hidden when not in use

These are available online and from most trailer/camper places.
It is by far the most common camper attachment system.

This system is not hidden when not in use but strong enough for the mega-slide ins.
The most cost effective way to block the camper up in the bed is 4' pieces of 2x4 placed side to side in the bed or a sheet(s) of OSB or plywood. Both spread the weight out nicely over the entire bed.
