Brake Controller Wire HELP Needed!

Anyone wire up a Voyager brake controller? I need help with my last termination of the red brake wire from the unit to the stoplight switch. Where is it located? Is it a wire I can splice into or can I terminate it into a plug? My truck does not have a tow package so it does not have the factory installed harness. I do have a 7-pin connector out back. My truck is a 2002 Screw FX4with a 5.4. Any help would be great thanks.

Don't splice anything.

Even though you don't have the tow package your truck is all pre-wired to receive a brake controller.
At the bottom of you dash, above the accelerator pedal is the OBDII port for computer diagnosis and programming. Directly above that is your plug for your trailer brake controller.

The green wire from a factory brake control wire harness (sold separately) goes to the red wire of the brake controller. This is your brake pedal activation feed.
Blue is trailer brakes, Black is the 12v positive and white is the ground. This means on your brake controller Blue to Blue, Black to Red, Red to Green and White to White.

If you get and after market wiring harness for your truck the wire colors will match exactly. Aftermarket wire harness retail for $10-12

Did you already install you relays and fuses so that you would have full function on your 7 pin connector?
