Well today i Had to go get my cousin from school. This may sound like an ordinary task but..... she drives a ford explorer with a possible bad head gasket... oh and she attends school in evansvill indiana, and we live in connersville indiana, a good 5-5.5 hours apart. So this adventure started at 8 am and ended at about 1230 am. This involved pulling a trailer down to evansville, and then trecking it back with an explorer loaded with a dorm room's worth of stuff. And i would just like to say the ol 4.6 with nearly 180k and almost all original was a trooper and got er done. Yes the 5.4 would have been better, but as long as you listen to your truck and figure out what it likes, you can do almost anything with them! Just thought it would be good to share so that someone who isnt sure about the 4.6 can see this and maybe realize they can hold their own when treated properly.
