Can anyone answer?

Your truck will reasonable tow 3000 -5000 lbs. depending on what it is and the terrain you are towing it through. It WILL tow more than that but it will work its ***** off!

You don't say whether your towing in hills or not! Your motor will tow up to 7000lbs, but not with such a low rear-end. If your in flat ground, you'll be ok to that point. The truck itself has enough mass to it to tow and more importantly to stop more than 7800lbs.

Do a search of this entire site. The towing forum is still relatively new considering the age of the board. There are so many variable factors involved, i.e. tongue weight of item towing, GCVW, wind resistance etc....

I've towed heavier trailers easier than some lighter ones, those factors play a big difference with a truck of your setup.
