Does anyone know what the difference is between the F150 SC 99 model and the 2k SC F150 model tow rating? I have an F150 with the 5.4L and tow package. It was rated at 8000lbs at the time of purchase. I have noticed that the F150 2k is now at 8300lbs. If any one has an answer I'm willing to listen.

I think Mother-In-Laws were banned in 2000.

Was it '99 or '00 that they removed the "valve" from the intake manifold? Whenever it was, its absence supposedly improved performance.
