Cool

OptiTriton--

My SC came with the flat five adapter. I had to purchase the 7-pin adapter. Went back to the dealer and picked it up at the parts dept. Check your glove box when you pick up your truck, see which one you have and stop by the parts dept. and pick up the other one. Save yourself some time and you'll be ready for either kind of setup in the future.

Thanks for the info. Ford was the last place I thought to look. The RV dealers here in Alabama say to call the boat places and the boat places say to check the RV dealers. What can I say....it is Alabama.

Thanks again.

Question Trailer wiring adapter

I'm picking up my new Supercrew Friday and I was wondering if anyone out there knows where I can get an adapter to take the 7 pin trailer wiring connector to a flat 5. My boat has a 5th wire connected to the backup lights that deactivates my trailers brakes.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I got mine from an RV dealer. I think I've seen them at Wal-Mart too. You could also try a U-haul place.

My Expy came with the 7-pin, and my trailer had the 5-pin setup. So, like JK_TN suggested, I got the 5-pin from the parts counter at the dealership.
