What kind of connector is this (04 F150 Screw)

I have a question for you guys... I recently acquired a new to me 2004 F150 Screw. The four pin connector on the truck was bad, so I rewired a new connector. Ideally, I'd like to put a 7 pin on there and be done.

Once getting under there I found there is a connector that looks like its ready to go for 7 pin wiring, but it has a different connector that what is used for hookup. It was in a bag with a Ford label on it and tucked up out of the way.

Here are a couple of pictures:

Do you have any idea of what this is? I would guess I'd need an adapter to convert from whatever this is to a 7 pin connector. I'm not sure if this is factory or not... Help?

Thanks
Jr!

Correct, that harness plugs into the back of a factory 7 way connector end.

Surprisingly enough, that is also the same connector that GM uses on their trucks. So you need a factory 7 pin plug for your wiring harness to plug in to.
