Trailer brake/turn light out
I've got an '07 F-150 with factory tow package that includes both a flat 4 pin and round 7 pin connector. The right trailer brake/turn signal do not work. I have checked both the four pin and seven pin connectors on the truck and there is no power to either one. The lights on the truck work fine. The disconnect is somewhere upstream of the trailer plugs.
Based on those symptoms, it seems to me like I have a bad connection or wire in the harness that leads to the trailer plugs. Am I missing something? The only reference I've been able to come across is for an '06 and the wiring diagram is pretty confusing so it's entirely possible I've overlooked something (hence the post). I would think any problems further upstream would manifest in the truck's tail lights & turn signals not functioning.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

^^ Good news
Most likely it is only a blown fuse. The trailer and truck have separate fuses. That way if you have a problem with one, you'll still have the other working. F36 is for the right turn signal. top row, furthest to the right. 10 amp (red) fuse. Fuse panel is on the passenger side kick panel, by the front door.
Grab the plastic cover on the side away from you, near the floor and pull it out. Then grab the fuse panel cover near the floor and pull hard. There is a fuse puller on the back of the black fuse panel cover. You'll need screw driver or something to unsnap the fuse puller.

A separate fuse for trailer lights? I can't believe I didn't check for that. I'll do that today. I hope it is that simple. :o
I noticed yesterday that there is a green wire along the frame rail under the driver's door that is not connected to the adjacent connector. It has been purposely taped up and out of the way. I was wondering if that may be the problem. I really wish I had an easier to read wiring diagram for the truck.
Here's hoping it's just a fuse.
