Question on Towing with Rize 8 and 37's 08 supercrew 5.4

within the next week or so i plan on making a trek to florida from ny, with my truck it is a:

08 lariat screw
5.4
3.73's
8" rize
37's

i am planning on towing a car trailer with a car home, 4400lbs total

i have a intake i gotta throw on as well as getting it dialed in on the dyno so im thinking that might help me a tad...

is there anyone else towing with there lifted truck on the highway, as well as what kinda milage are you getting, i see around 9-10 on the highway with the 37's so im guessing 5mpg with the trailer? i really do not have the time to wait to get gears put in unfortunately..am i really going to be killing the truck? i did tow the same combo before the lift and it was hardly noticeing it, so im assumeing its going to be struggleing now...

any thoughts?

You really need gears. With 37s you need at least 4.56 gears to compensate... Take it easy and you should be fine.. but you really need to get some lower gears. Your transmission will thank you. (and your wallet, fuel mileage should go up considerably)

Make sure you have the right drop on your hitch, and don't tow in overdrive. Once you get it rolling, it will pull fine.

You need 4:88's for the 37's. I kinda wish I had got them, I got the 4:56's for my 35's. I pulled my toybox with my 3:55's and its real bad on the trans. Just take it easy leaving stop lights, get it rolling before you hammer it.
