Hitch install bolts

Hey, I found a used hitch for my 94 150. My frame rails are not drilled like the newer trucks. Each rail takes 3 bolts. Are 1/2" Grade 8 large enough or do I need larger dia. ?

Larger Please...
Most new hitches come with 9/16-5/8 for a class II
I've seen some class III's with up to 3/4" mounting bolts.

Measure the hole that is pre-drilled in the reciever where it bolts to the truck frame.... use that size bolt. Those are drilled to a particular size for a reason.

use the largest size grade 8 bolt that fits in the holes on the hitch, my guess is 5/8 or 3/4.
