slide in camper

have 2006 f-150 supercrew 5.5 ft bed anyone have a slide in if so which one thanks

You will be hard pressed to find a modern slide-in that won't exceed your GVW ratings in any half ton truck. Most camper salesman will not tell you this fact though. Slide in campers are best left for 1 ton trucks.

If you must...there are some stripped out units, without water and stove that should work, but after adding your gear to them you will be heavy and you will need to alter your rear suspension to compensate for the load.

X2. The Diesel 350 makes a lot more sense. Most campers are heavy enough to make a 1-ton squat.
