Upgrade to Brake Controller

I have a 2004 F-150 Supercrew. It currently has a Tekonsha Voyageur brake controller. I would like to upgrade to a Prodigy but I am wondering what would be involved. Would it simply be a matter of unpluggin the Voyageur and then plugging in the Prodigy? Would there by any additional wiring required?

If you already have a tekonsha controller installed, it should jsut be a matter of unplugging the old and plugging in the new. I have the adapter for the prodigy. I can take a picture of the end so you can see if its the same. I would imagine it is. Even if it wasn't th same a new harness is like $15, and there should be no other wiring neccessary. What is your email adress, and i'll send you pics of the adapter?

Voyagers do not have a plug in the back of the controller like the Prodigy or P3.

You will need to splice in your harness that is attched to the Voyager, or get a Tekonsha Prodigy-Ford harness for the Prodigy and you will need to just unplug the Voyager and plug in the Prodigy.
