THe P3 offers better diagnostics and display, but I don't think has anything better for actual performance. Prodigy is THE controller to get and the P3 just adds to it. For $30 more, I'd consider it. I don't think it's worth double a Prodigy. Either will work for your popup and future double axle RV.

I have the Prodigy and use it to tow my travel trailer which weighs 5050 lbs, dry. It's a fantastic controller! I had a Voyager in my old truck (trailer dealer installed it as part of the trailer deal) and it was terrible! I could never get the right amount of brake dialed in. The Prodigy is great! The P3 wasn't available when I bought my Prodigy, but if it does everything the Prodigy does, and then some ~ go for it!

Will let you know soon. Have a Prodigy on the F150. I bought a P3 for my Suburban but haven't installed it (GM saw fit to make the 2007 GMT900's without plug and play for the controller like Ford).

When I do, I will post a comparison.

I have the Prodigy and prefer the simplicity of it to the bells and whistles the P3 has. I like to follow the KISS principle.

My father has the P2.6
I have the P3

We both prefer the P3.
