question about my B.C.
question about my B.C.
I just bought a new to me 99 f150 supercab this week
. The truck came with a brake controller and factory tow package. The unit that is in the truck is this http://www.hayesbc.com/syncronizer.html
My question is in the instruction manual it says there must be a fuse connect on one of the lines. Can anyone give me some insight on where that fuse would be? The unit seems to be working now, but I have yet to hook up to a trailer with eletric brakes.

If the thing works all the fuses are in place.
There are 2 fuses and relays for the aux charge line as well as electric brake controller. They will be in the fuse block under the hood, near the firewall on the driver's side.
You're good to go....remember that you will need to adjust that controller for the load you are hauling.
