Will I be ok?

Just bought a 2007 F150 Lariet 5.4 Crewcab.
Will be towing a 23 ft travelite trailer, dry weight of around 3500 lbs. Pulled this trailer with my 99 expedition (same engine) and it pulled ok..but I knew it there. Will be using an equalizer hitch.....planning on pulling this thing from California to Texas this summer......should I be worried?

You will be fine. I tow a 29" Fleetwood Pioneer Travel Trailer weight is close to 7500 lbs. Trucks pulls it just fine. Just make sure to get your self a brake controler & stabalizing bars to avoid the sagging. You will have plenty of towing power. Good luck.

I had a Hayes pendulum brake controller on the expedition, I didn't think it worked all that well....will need to install another controller on the F150......
any reccomendations?

X 3 on the Tekonsha Prodigy. Towing my 26 ft. 6,500lb. travel trailer you almost can't tell it is back there while braking.
