i got my truck stuck a couple years ago and when i was trying to pull it out it ripped off the plastic piece on the rear bumper and pulled off the plug too. my question is, I still have the wires right in the back, but can I just buy the plug and put the wires together? or would i need a whole new wiring harness?

 

If you have enough wire left...by all means just install those wires in a new plug. If not you can buy a new harness....or lengthen the wires that are left and install them in a new plug.

BTW...more than likely when they got pulled out or after you probably shorted out the wires and you probably have a few bad fuses to replace too.
