Did almost the same thing with my first boat in shallow water only I didn't break the skeg, I just bent a brand new prop. Got any pictures of yours?

I put one in my gallery i don't know how to put it in this space but here's a link. I do have the air springs in the back they really help with the sag.

From what I can see you can't take away any tongue weight. You woud need to be able to move the bracket to the rear and it doesn't look like you have any room at all to do that. That's where mine sits also. Check it and see what the ratio is and if it's wrong talk to your dealer about it.
Nice boat

I have the 5.7L EFI that has 260 HP.I can run between 28 to 35 miles an hr in the 3,000 to 3500 rpm range and I had it as fast as 47.5 with full fuel and the wife and I.
I haven't got the wife to spend the night on it yet but she's coming around and this might be the year My river's not big anough for a nine day trip, well what's boatable on my end of the Potomac river. It would only take me 3hrs to get the the bay
