need some opinions
The deal is that is a big trailer for a 1/2 ton. A wind deflector will help in speeds over 55mph, but the fact is it is a heavy trailer for a small truck.
I think the best money you could spend would be to sell the larger trailer, get a smaller/lighter v-nose trailer, or if this is not an option because you have to use that trailer get a bigger truck.
We sell 20' dove tail aluminum skin enclosed trailers used by landscapers with 3500lb axles in them loaded with 2 deck mowers and some small stuff (read..mostly empty) and they have trouble pulling them with F250's and gas engines. All their new trucks are 1 tons or bigger with diesels.

My guess is, with that truck, you should not be pulling more than about 6,000 pounds. I think you are maxed out at 7,000 pounds which, at that weight, does not give yo much margin for safety.
That trailer is going to need at least a 3/4 ton truck.
IMHO
