is your truck wired for 4 pin and 7 pin like it came from the factory?
Which adaptor are you referring to?

Have you checked the truck-trailer fuses under the hood?

get a meter, put the adper on the truck, function test the pins on the plug to find out what pin goes to what by turning on the blinkers --ect, then take a small jumper wire and stick in the pin thet you know the function of on the truck and stick the jumper into the pin on the trailer to determin what lights up, they have small checkers at any auto parts store, about 10 buks or less. hope this helps, Gary
