thank you guys i really appreciate the help, this really gets confusing when you know you can only afford either a new truck or a new trailer, but Momma wants all the trailer she can get.she was even talking about the fireplace option

I really appreciate all the reply's,But, now Momma has decided that a 5er is what she wants so i guess i will have to redo the math adding the weight of the in bed hitch and probably over load springs, i'm sure that will reduce the amout of (length) camper that i will be able to get.

Just remember that overload springs won't increase your weight limits...

I like what mine did for the ride, both unloaded and loaded.... Does keep the truck from sagging in the rear so that's a good thing too.

I did my first loaded pull this weekend and truck did fine. I'm 4830 lb empty, I'm figuring between 6 and 6500 lb loaded. Truck weight maxes out with just the family and shell cover on. I did put a little firewood in it, but nothing else. Had no swaying and was able to get it to 70 with no problems. Didn't get to use an interstate though, so that test will have to wait until July 4th weekend...
