Prodigy wire harness problems

I just got a prodigy break controler today and the harness that should be a direct plug, the wires are not in the right spots. One set out of the 4 line up. Has anyone else has this problem?

I just figured out how to take apart the connector thanks though!

If your F-150 has the towing package, you should have a little plug under the dash on the driver's side, beside the computer diagnostics plug. You can then get an adapter pig tail from the place you get your Prodigy from, and then it's plug-n-play. Don't forget about the two extra relays that you may need in your fusebox under the hood (will have come with a towing package, may not have been plugged in).

what do I have to do for the 2 relays? Yes, the truck did come with a tow package. The directions didn't say anything about relays, but I read another post on here about them. What are they for? How do I know if they are there. If they arn't how should I install them?

The two relays would have been provided in the glove compartment, or may already have been installed. One is for the trailer's charging circuit (ie if it is an RV), and the other provides power to the backup lights if your trailer has them.

I don't know offhand which circuit #s they are, but they just pop into the fuse/relay box that is in the engine compartment.

Just put one in my 04 a week ago. I dont know about the older trucks but I needed one relay that ford supplyed. They also supplyed the adaptor. (THE COLORS ARE NOT THE SAME!!!) and I just read what colors go where and wired it up. Few holes in the cubby to mount it/run wires through and its good as gold. Ill test it this weekend, but all the signals read normal. Ill know for sure when I go on sunday to get my bronco.

Write up I did is HERE

Heres a pic, more on that link.
