Angry Towing vibrations

I have a 04 150 super crew 4x2 with 373 gears towing package..... When I pull my 26ft fifth wheel I get vibrations thru the truck until I get about 30 mph. I think this is tourgue related. Anyone else have these issues.

I have just finished talking to the service advisor and they say the truck is no good. BUT, they can't fix it and cannot get help from Ford Canada. I have called the customer service and they said to work with the dealer. the rep from Ford said I should not put weight in the truck. Go figure its for looks only>>>??? I have a meeting with the owner of the dealership on Wed. I am asking for my money back or a f250 at the same interest rate. o%. the only next steop here in Canada is arbitration. Thats binding for all parties.

Towing Vibes

I found that if weight is distributed evenly over the axles, the vibration will diminish. In other words if my Mustang doesn't sit dead center between the fenders of my car hauler, I get a vibration. Here is an analogy. By shifting your body weight on a skateboard, you can change directions. If your loaded trailer became detached from the tow vehicle (heaven forbid!) it would steer towards the heavier side. Now with that known fact, a poorly balanced load on a trailer will transfer that same unbalanced condition to the tow vehicle. How do I know this??? I stayed at the Express Holiday Inn last night Hoss

Well thanks for your reply. The trailer was balanced the truck sits even. its also a fifth wheel. I have been talking to Ford and the truck is kgoing back. Since I still like Fords I have ordered a F250.

Thanks
ps.. I would like to thank the dealer involved for their support.

When the service manager and shop foreman went for a ride they saif the truck is no good the way it is. they felt that it should not be vibrating or shaking like it was. They changed the drive shaft and hanger bearing. That didnt help. The dealer finally agreed with me and we got no support from Ford Canada. the dealer is taking the lose to keep the customer happy.
