Most states post their laws on the internet. You just have to do a quick search on Yahoo or whatever and look them up. Just my opinion I prefer to look them up myself. I've heard too many times a defendant say the guy at the tag office said "blah, blah, blah" and the judge replies "The guy at the tag office isn't here. My judgement is your guilty pay the clerk."

If they don't just about all will have a telephone directory for the Department of Transportation or Department of Public Safety (State Police).
