So my 2010 Lariat S-Crew was originally sold in Canada, and not all SYNC functions seem to work as they would here in the US. Cant even seem to update the system. Any ideas on how to unlock it?

These features are not locked. They're not available in Canada, so the vehicles are not built to support those options (Vehicle Health Report & SYNC Services). You should be able to update the software though. What happens when you try?

System says update failed. I tried it several times last week with same result.

 

That's correct, tower06. The vehicle was built with Canadian specs. Can you please send the VIN in a PM? I'd like to look into your software.
