I have the incredible 2, and my phone is capable of using the usb port since its not listed on the ford website, only the incredible be careful when reading the information to for those who has the incredible 2 it can be confusing at until the people at the phone company figure out incredible 2.1 means that 2.1 is the version for incredible 1 not the incredible 2

Donuteater.... when you "paired" your phone did you use the 4-digit PIN instead of the default 6-digist PIN? I've found that if you do a "clean repair" and use the "Special PIN" when you attempt to pair a Samsung Galaxy S a gain, it will usually download the entire phone book. I don't think the Galaxy S is supported for text messaging... See my blog at fordtechlane.com for handling more issues with the phone book...
