Yeah there are tons of people around here with jacked up 4x4s that never see dirt. A couple of them are raptors. I am willing to bet my 2wd truck has seen more rocks, mud and dirt than a bunch of them put together...it's sad.

To me, that truck/camper combo makes the truck a whole lot better. Like Nettershakes said, the slide in popup camper can be taken off, leaving time to go out and do jumps.

actually i wouldnt mind that at all! go to camp, just drop the legs and bounce up out of there...have some offroad fun, then go back to camp, hook it up and go to bed..

I go camping a lot out here where im now stationed..i also do a lot of offroading with my raptor. Im trying to find a happy medium to do both on the same weekend lol here is what i have been looking at, more light weight and all, but those campers are awesome...stayed in one a few years back, cant beat it thats for sure. Now i might be dead interested on ordering one lol

this is what im buying for when i crash at camp sites now:

eddlestone213, is that a regular full sized tent or one of the ones they make for trucks?

I wonder if mine would fit that well. My newer one is over 7 feet square but with my headache rack and tool box my bed is only about 4.5 ft at the rails. I think I'll have to keep looking for the smooth or dry patches. lol

Wow nobody understands that setup at all. I think it's smart. Get to your spot, drop the legs on the camper and drive off. Takes maybe 10 minutes to remove that and to be off jumping hills.

Thats not true. haha Just the people who made the first few comments. I think its really funny that there was a guy who's truck was supposed to look like an off road machine not liking the outdoor equipped raptor.

I would surely hope that truck could carry about 2-3k# in the bed. If it can't then how can you expect it to not splat when the rest of the 5K# truck lands on it hauling azz across rought terrain?
