How Much in the Denver/Fort collins area?

I want a Raptor, but i dont want to pay 48K for one...i dont need the navi options, or the graphics...i just want the luxuray package...heated seats and back up sensors...online it should only be 44K total...and i dont want to pay MSRP....Is this even possible? lol seems like all the local dealerships think its impossible...I can always wait for the rave to pass through and buy it mid 2010 when the snow is gone.

Not sure if you know but, reverse sensors are not offered on the Raptor. You can get the reverse camera without getting nav though and it appears in the rear view mirror. As for pricing, not excatly sure in your area but, there are PLENNNNTY of people that have bought the 5.4 Raptor now for way off of MSRP. Don't let a dealer try to muscle you around with the limited edition talk, they're not making them anymore, blah-blah-blah. There are deals to be had out there. You can find alot more info on it over at raptorforumz.com.

got it...it showed on the ford website having that option, but it was a grip lol

Thats what i thought....the one in denver has the 6l Raptor, then again, the salesman had no clue that they had 2 different motors..and i asked him how they have it when the motor hasent been out just yet...he answered "i dont know"

every dealership told me i would have to special order the raptor...and they wont work a good deal considering i have to order one. Im about to call dealerships outside my area and wouldnt mind driving 500 miles if it will save me a few grand.

debated with 2 different dealerships over the phone after doing a bit of homework...looked up invoice prices, family plan prices and so on...

needless to say, the MSRP price they offer for the truck is over priced without a doubt. I have no problems giving money to the dealership, i understand they need to make their ends...as my wife worked at a ford dealership for 3 years or so....so i know how much they make when they sell a vehicle (not all vehicles but most) at invoice. i guess it all depends how much they order at the time, or if the truck was a dealer trade...or if it has been sitting on the lot for a month or so...

needless to say, its always best to work a deal with a truck they have on their floor...as trying to work a deal on an order.

as of right now they are willing to take off 2 grand off the MSRP price and offer me 14K for my 05 Lariat...55k miles and 2WD,.

Im wanting more off...some might think im crazy, but i have a 4500 dollar cushion to work with...MSRP is 4500 dollars more than invoice, more than most other vehicles...most only differ about 2K or so. So the manufacturer over priced the raptor by a few grand for the sticker MSRP price...which is no secret. Prices SHOULD go down...as it did with the ford lightning, shelby and so on...dealerships still make money on cars being sold at invoice...so we shall see.

im going in next week to give them my end all answer...14500 for my truck and 3K off the truck or im walking out...if they deal with me, im buying it right there and then. should be interesting LOL

Yeahhhh......no, that was not a 6.2 Raptor at that dealer, lol. You'll run into alot of misinformed dealers and salesman with the Raptor....this, like other SVT models, is something that the customer usually has more product info on. I'd deff. offer them the deal that you're talking about, that seems doable. Good luck and if you get it, register over at the raptorforum and show it off

LOL ya...well needless to say, i never went back to that dealership in particular, if anybody lives in the Denver area, do NOT go to Phil Long Ford lol

I ended up getting an EXCELLENT deal in the fort collins area, (spradley barr ford). They gave me book for trade in on my 2WD F150 Lariat (good condition value 14,500) and took 2K off of Msrp, gave me free oil changes and Nitrogene tire rotations, and linux paint and interior protection, paid 1000 for the platinum extended warranty coverage for the entire term of the loan, discounted price on Gap, and i was still significantly under MSRP on price of purchase, not to mention financed on a 4.9% APR fixed rate. excellent deal and fair for the area i think...i tried getting something close to Invoice, and most dealerships wont approve considering make and model of vehicle...at least in my state lol as i went to every dealership, argued, swindled, wont budge.

either way i didnt care, i wanted this truck regardless and was going to purchase it before the end of the year to get approval for the 1500 tax refund for buying an american vehicle by the end of year. The dealer marked date of purchase 31 Dec 09 @ 3:15Pm to be exact LOL

im stoked none the less, jumped inside the floor model and its a SICK truck!
