2010 F150 FX4 trade for 2010 F150 Raptor LOL

I am thinking about it. I have had my new truck for 2.5 weeks, dealer just got a black Raptor in. Going to talk turkey tonight. I got a pretty good deal on my truck (paid $35ish on $42ish sticker). Should be interesting to see if what the outcome is.

My wife is going to kill me.

I would wait if I were you, dealer is going to rape you on a trade in, also raptors are at a premium right now since they are new and the value of the first year 5.4L raptors are going to drop off fast after the 6.2L raptors are released....

I say wait, but it's your money...

not gonna happen. no matter how new your truck is its still used and they will give you bottom dollar to sell it at top dollar plus your not gonna get any discounts on the raptor

just went to two dealers today and again they are gonna laugh at you when you ask about incentives plus your trucks been titled so your sol unless you feel like paying the extra 10K plus.

thats basically how my friends dad got his 09 KR. some guys wife got it for him but all his friends had platinums so he took it back and paid the extra 7K and got the platinum and my friends dad got the KR for about 35 since it was "used"

Wll, the spit at my local deal was going to be $11,000 on a $45K Raptor. They wouldn't do the X-plan on a vehicle they had to go find, which there was one in Texas that was exactly what I wanted. They said becauase they knew the price I paid for the truck they couldn't give me what they could someone else (crap in my opinion).

So I called the Texas dealer, and they would have done the X-plan, gave me $2000 more for my truck than the last and the split would have been $6000, my goal and deal maker was a $4K spit, so since I can't find anyone that can do that for me I am not going to do it at this time. I will wait awhile and get the 6.2L on dow the road.

Too bad, they are beautiful trucks

Who'd want the 5.4 when the 6.2 is available? It's not like anyone buying a Raptor is hard up for cash.

the 5.4L is an excellent deal for what the truck comes with...i really doubt it will drop like a rock when the 6.2L comes out, like myself, the 5.4 is more than enough for me, and its a proven motor thats relaible and better fuel economy.

talked to the owner at the dealership where i brought my raptor, he asked if i would wait for the 6.2L truck, i said "how long" he said aprrox by the end of this year 2010...i was like wha? thats not what they are saying online....he personally called and tried ordering the new 6.2 engine raptors and was told they wont be in for a while, maybe by end of year.

I got my raptor and im STOKED! gonna hit CO springs and other offroad trails in my area come next week...gonna be a blast
