Why would anyone want to ruin the Raptor's already perfect offroad suspension geometry with a lift or level?

When I was installing the 4.88 gears in the front and had the axles out, I noticed there was additional droop available. With enough room in the suspension travel, I figured it would be nice to move the spring/shock assembly down and level the truck so it had the stance like the prototype Raptors had.. There is no measureable change in the shock travel and, because the assembly was shimmed down, the shock still sits in the original position at rest. The only things I had an issue with were the CV angles and the upper control arm - spring clearance.
Since the installation a couple weeks ago, I raised the truck off the ground and rotated the axles in both directions. I noticed no binding.
Also, I have jumped the truck several times, a couple feet in the air, and there is no marking or scuff marks on the control arms or springs. I think the longer arms are sufficient to prevent that.
I had Truxxx develop a spacer for the top of the shock and they used grade 8 hardware and cycled the suspension as well.

The level kit is not like increasing the preload and allowing the shock to top out when unloaded.

And not to forget Fox added 3 preloads level on the strut...

So you can actually lift the front without a leveling kit, but at the same time the front will be stiffer and lose travel, but will be level.

The front being lower is to give the truck some working ablility... Never saw a trophie truck or chase truck with the front lower then the rear anyway. Plus it look ''goofie'' with the front so low.

Roser truck is perfect as it is right now. Could use bigger tire but the truck still look perfect the way it is.

I am toying with having my Techs raise the front with the spring perch adjustment and throwing on 37" tall tires to just get some pics. I work at a shop so I can have it switched back fairly easily. I am just curious what it would look like.

Just slap 37'' with the leveling kit. Pretty damn sure it will fit without problem.

If not you can still lift it another 2'' with the Fox setting, but the rear will be sagging.

One thing's for sure, i will be sick with 37'' on there.

I love the Raptor, but would definitely wait for the 6.2L engine. That's the best $3000 option ever!

looks sweet with the level kit! I dunno about cranking the fox shocks up and having the level kit... I would think the CVs and the control arms would be at terrible angles.

Just something to thing to think about which has nothing to do with whats been stated above: F150s were designed to come with ~32" stock tires. So lifting and putting a 35" tire on is not increasing the tire size much at all, therefore not creating a whole lot more stress for the suspension/control surfaces. So considering the Raptor was designed to come with 35s stock, I believe putting a 37" tire on the raptor would be comparable to putting a 35 on a stock f150 and would be fine. And I would love to see it with some 37s. Make sure you get an MT tho! I think km2s would be sick on there

I think they look great right out the gate. No level kit needed. Just my opinion

i think the raptor looks good right out the factory but Roser your raptor looks great that way too and if you put some 37's on there that would look awesome and there would have to be pics of them
