yep, some of the wiring is the same... but keep in mind, they did completely re-engineer the truck, so I'm sure I don't have ALL that wiring, but some it I think I have on my frame too.

and the tow hook on the tow hitch can be seen in the top of the 5th photo. From your post, I wasn't sure if were saying you didn't see it above, or if you hadn't seen up until now. But anyways...

That Red/Orange color is pretty sweet up close with that metallic flake in it and that tailgate badge is bad@ss.

Your C/V's and ball joints on your FX4's will be stressed with a leveling kit. The raptor is completely different. Thats why I went with the 5100 Bilsteins on my FX4 to get me my 2" lift free of stress!

ummm.....two inches up is two inches up isnt't it? 5100's nor spacers do anything to drop the subframe/crossmember so the cv angles and ball joints would be under the same stress either way, right?

Anywho...that raptor is pretty tough lookin!! Not sure about the "ford" in the grille....that'd have to grow on me I think.

I agree with a couple of other post here, I think that Raptor and even the 09 F-150's look tacky! No offense to 09 owners, but Ford has gone to these gigantic emblems that look all ricey, the grills are ugly not to mention the Raptor has a gigantc FORD on the front, it appears to be a supercab...on a offroad vehicle??? WTF! It took me awhile to get used to the 04-08 style and now I own both but still like the gen before that too like my 97, these new vehicles are not tasteful at all and the new Raptor makes me yawn. What's so great about this thing???

It looks like there's a skid plate covering all the important bits. My question is though, it looks plastic to me. Is it?

I like the grill, it's so BA. I just wish the truck was going to come in gray.

I like the tail lights. Did fmc update the raptor images on the product page. They say they will start shipping this summer.

Plastic skid on the Gas tank= Lame. Also why are there running boards/steps on this truck? Ground clearance is king off-road!

I still want one in black...
