The crazy part is that people seem to be assuming that what is good for them is good for everyone else.

If I am paying my good money I have the right to have what I want.
I camp and sleep in my back seat along with gear storage not to mention passenger accommodation also. Im not going to race my truck in the desert as most that buy it also will not. Most people buy trucks for multifunction. This is why they sold so many 4 door trucks for decades.
Why will they pass up sales, the reason they built it in the first place?

Anyone else realize the lack of T-case and gas tank skid plates?

I would imagine they were taken off for the photo op, to see all the organs? Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe they come with a full set of heavy duty skid plates, not the flimsy crap they usually put on pick-ups.

Sweet truck for sure. Just hope the price isn't completely overboard.
