lowering...need some help

I am sure there is somewhere on this site where there is a place to find info on about lowering an F150 with a V6....I plan on lowering mine, however the only kit I can find is the Hotchkis Suspension package which looks like and awesome package but I am not tryin to spend $1000...looking for something around $400 and tht lowers 3/4/5" ...I want the additional handling effects and I like the look of these trucks lowered....Thanks

SO-CAL lowering located in Pomona, Ca has the best kit on the market right now. It is a 2/3 and runs $750, $1400 installed. Bar none the best check it out.

belltech or ground force both h9ave kits in the 300-400 range that will give you a 3/4 drop..the engine doesnt matter the kits all f150s..if you want a 4/6 drop you will have to notch the frame and those kits will run 700-800

If you do a search, you'll find that there quite a bit of information on Lowering kits and Suspension kits. I propose that there is a difference between the two.

You have to decide if you want to just lower your truck, or do you want the best handling? The Hotchkis kit is definitely for handling, but you will need to upgrade to a real shock as well. Just lowering the truck can be done correctly for under a $1000.
