Ball Joints didn't seem like something I wanted to take on. I don't even know what Tie Rods are. I have, however, worked extensively with the front break system. I've replaced just about everything except the calipur (sp). Can you ask any specific questions?

To start with, what is involved with removing the rotors in a 4X4? How do you remove the hubs?

On a 95 it depends on what type of hub you have on the front end (auto, manual, etc) on removing the hub and the brake rotor. On some the rotors fit over the hub on others it sits in behind the hub. It's way too much to type here. I would suggest spending the $15 on a repair maual. For the balljoints it's easier if you have a balljoint press. Tie rods are simple as long as you keep exact measurements and count threads. You will need an alignment after all of this.

Yeah, the balljoint press is why I choose not to do that job myself.

I'm personally partial to Chilton's manuals but I'm not sure if I've even looked at a hayne's manual. I also have a manual on CD incase I want a different perspective.... They sell on ebay for pretty cheap...

Haynes seems to lay it out in easier to understand terms. Chiltons seem to be more detailed, the best tech advice out there comes from the factory service manuals. Me I own both Haynes and Chiltons on my truck and plan to buy the factory service maual too. You can never know too much about your truck.

All I can say is if your doing it yourself.... Good luck.
