NOises while driving!!!!
I am experiencing some noise that seems to be coming from my back end while driving. It sounded like brakes, and the brakes were already worn down, so I replaced them. I still have the noises even after the new brake pads. I am thinking possible suspension, or it could be the brake rotors, as ford said they needed to be replaced when they put the pads on. I just figured they were trying to make a buck, as I didnt think they were in that bad of shape. Anyone have any idea what this high pitched hoise could be?

Hey Scubasteve
I am not sure without hearing your sound for myself, but it sounds like the same thing that happened to me. I had a sound coming from the rear when i accelerated and braked and it turned out to be my driveshaft. It seems that there is an inner lining inside the driveshafts and it sometime will come loose inside causing the driveshaft to get tweeked i little bit upon acceleration and braking so you might see a drivetrain mechanic and see what he thinks. Hope i could help cause those sounds do get annoying.

I think there is a TSB on this. The leaf spring bushings move because they were not installed properly at the factory and the end of the spring rubs the shackle (Metal to metal) and it can make a screaching sound like brakes can.
