Has anyone seen or heard any news about these. I would like to see what they look like

 

The 2003 F150s arent changing. If they do, it'll be very very minute. The 2004 is the redesign year...they should go on sale in late june/early july of 2003 however. This is what it might look like:



I have a feeling there will be several changes from this drawing (wheel size, etc.)
But the word currently is an option for I.R.S. like the new Expy. but a solid would be standard. Other info is stuff like built in subwoofer in rear seats as standard...and tv screens as an option. The entire truck is going to be redesigned inside and out. Ford has been pretty closed mouth on the redesign for a couple reasons. They dont want to let the cat out of the bag first of all, and second, more importantly, Ford has been spending too much money redeveloping its cars/SUVs lately. Look at Lincoln and the new Expy and new Explorer (they've all been COMPLETELY redesigned down to the suspension) and all the new gadgets theyve been researching & putting on these...this has put them way over budget for a complete redesign of the F150. However, it should still be above and beyond the competition when it comes out...and hopefully for a while...

 

Are they seriously going to put the exhaust in front of the rear wheels again??

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they did. It's been a hit on the lightning, and actually is a pretty popular mod & is easier and cheaper to put there. HOWEVER, if they do it, they should most definetely put 2 pipes like in the pic...NOT one like in 97...that was hideous.
