today at my school this kid showed me his bros tahoe that was lifted like 6 inches. I thought it was pretty nice but nothing out of the ordinary until.....he flipped a switch and the whole car started going up and down, it was so cool. Can i do this to my truck and how much would ti cost (i know it will be alot)

i want pics of that! i dunno too much about hydraulics, but you will most probabley need to go to an expert. depending on all the options expect up to 5k. and if you do get some video!

 

just a reminder: hydraulics do plenty of damage to the truck. you will most probabley scuff just about everything and misalign a plenty. whenever you hear about hydraulic contest at shows, someone always does damage.

 

that has to be one of the wildest thing to see a lifted truck on hydros, but how functional would it be? i can see it rolling over, i mean the mini trucks roll over and you have a lift higher center of gravity i would think it would roll easy

 

Did it really have a lift kit or is it a hydro kit that can lift 6 inches over the stock height? Usually with those kits you would lower it back to normal ride height before driving too far.

did it just go down from there or did it go higher? ive seen some minis around here that like to drive with the rear ALL the way up and the front about 5 inches off the ground

Quick question, With hydraulics, like airbags, they controll all the suspencion travel. Is this right. if so, thier would be no wheel travel what so ever, and the ride would be terrible. I was just curious if this was rigth, I have seen vehicles with them on thier, and they look rough.

 

most likely the chevy is running air bags on the pork chops connected to the end of the tortion bars and the truck is being cracked up and down by the bags turning the tortion bars, the kits have been out for a while, two wheel drives can run cradle suspension lifts and put bags in the place of the springs and lift and lower the truck. cradles can go up to 15 inches and bags can add up to 4" of lift to that depending on set ups.
