Cool Non F150- 97 Cougar Strut Install Question

We have a 97 Cougar Sport 4.6 V8 and it's due for strut/shock replacements and have narrowed my choices in priority to these....

1. Bilstein
2. Koni
3. KYB GR2

To replace the rears is straight forward, as I look at the front struts it appears that a backyard mechanic (such as myself) could do this one.....Was wondering if anyone had any experience themselves and thoughts...

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

I don't think i've ever done them on that year cougar, but struts are pretty straightforward. Should take maybe 20-30 minutes each strut if your using handtools. 5 minutes with an air gun You do know that you will need a spring compressor right?
