steering gear box question

Has anyone tried to adjust or replace the stock F-150 steering gear box?

I am trying to get my 99' supercab flareside to steer with at least the same "sensitivity" as my brother-in-law's 95 chevy. His truck's steering is very sensitive compared to mine.

I know there is an adjustment, but I do not know if that adjustment only makes the steering wheel move easier/ harder or does it actually increase the sensitivity of steering?

Does any company make an aftermarket steering box with a different gear ratio that has "sportcar" type steering gears for a 99' F-150? Thanks for any info.
