Need to soften the ride

Does anyone know if a kit is available to soften up the ride? Long journeys in my Supercrew are a pain in the neck, literally, especialy with no weight in the bed. The suspension does not move at all. Everyone inside just gets thrown around.

Matt90G........thanks for the response. Its an 02 screw 2x only, with the standard set-up, although I appreciate that not all shocks may be the same. I'll wash the winter crud off and see if I can identify the set-up. ( again, I did this last week, but we put so much **** on the roads in the winter that its hard to keep anything clean). It would be nice to make the ride more civilised, but I'm also worried about breaking suspension parts, as the thump and rattle of unsprung bits makes me wince as much as my kidneys and spleen hitting each other. I know that it will help if I pre-load with weight in the bed, but I do not want to lose economy or performance.

The velvet ride shackles are nice if they make them for your ride.

Otherwise, welcome to the world of solid axles! they will hop and clunk and skip over things like expansion joints and imperfections in the road. This is not a taurus or lincoln, but it is still a truck.

Try some new shocks in the front and rear like the eddys or Monroe sensatracs for starters. I am guessing you have the stockers in there presently.
