Fabtech Lift

Hey y'all,

Does anyone have the new fabtech 6" lift for the 97-01 F-150????

If so, how much did it cost, and what do you think of it?

Cool 6.5" Fabtech Performance Lift

I have a 4x2 Supercab and just put the 6.5" Fabtech Lift on recently. I love it! I've got BFG 315/75/16 on Eagle 16x10 rims. Had to trim the valance to prevent rubbing. The kit includes 4" blocks, but the truck sags a little in the rear. I had a choice to switch to 5" blocks but have decided to install add-a-leafs instead. Fabtech said the 5" blocks may still undercorrect the problem and stiffen the ride. They also said the add-a-leafs may overcorrect it. I'd rather have a slight overcorrection. The kit was about $1350 plus installation $400. Depending on what tires and rims you want, expect to spend at least $350 each. If you buy online and don't want to install it yourself make sure your offroad shop will install it for you. If they will install it, they'll probably hike the labor cost up. So you'll pay close to the same. Hope this helps. I have a pic but it's too big for this site. I'll try to shrink it and repost.
