Need to level her out
Need to level her out
Hi,
I installed a 3-5 drop about a year ago and the truck still sits lower in the back left. What can I do to fix this! Any help would be great, Thanks

It sits that way cause of the fuel tank. I have the same problem on my truck, but I'm going not down. I think the only way to get around it is to put a fuel cell where the spare tire goes, so the weight of it will be spread across both frame rails. That way the whole rear will be lower
what kit do you have on your truck? Western Chassis has a kit and the rear is adjustable to be 3, 4, or 5 drop. It uses adjustable hanger and shackles. You may be able to change either the shackle or the hanger and get it up an inch. The reason I bought the Western Chassis kit is because of the adjustability, incase the rear came out a little low. I haven't installed my kit yet but plan on doing so in the next few weeks.
Hi,
I to have the western chassis I might try raising the one side up alittle and see what happens, I guess this would be ok, just wonder if its gonna cause any driving problems?

true blue, i misread your first post. if one side is sitting lower that is a different problem entirely. I don't think I would raise only one side. If you changed rear so you have a 3/4 drop and put a little rake on the truck the slight difference may not be as noticable. How much lower is the left rear side? To ChaoitRacers point, is it level when the fuel tank is almost empty. Did you perform the work or was it done at a shop?
