Clicking brakes, please help.

I have an annoying clicking sound in my front-left brake caliper, at least I'm pretty sure it's coming from the caliper. It only seems to do it in forward gears and it seems to do it more when turning left. I happens under braking most of the time but I can't hear it at speed because of my tire drone. Any thoughts on what this may be, I havn't got a chance to pull the tire and brake assembly yet. but before I do I would like to see what you guys think about it. It seems to resinate out through the wheel, I took my lug cover off and it sounds the same, I don't think it's in my CV joints because it doesn't do it in reverse, it doesn't sound like my wheel bearings because it is a clicking noise not a grouning noise like bad bearings usually make. Like I said, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think it is wheel bearings because of the fact that it does not do it when the wheel is turned to the right, it seems to do it more when I'm turning left and under braking, it doesn't do it much when I'm not braking, but under any sort of braking it does it pretty badly. I'm thinking it's something in the brake caliper, maybe the anti-rattle clips or what not.

I had the same problem about a month ago. When i would turn left there would be an annoying noise under braking but everything seemed fine turing right under braking. I took it to the shop and the guy said it was a brake sensor or something on the brake rotors. It makes a noise when the rotors needs to be replaced. Dont ask me why it only did it turning left though and sometimes going straight. And i dont think i was going fast enough to induce a noise from braking in reverse. hope this helps

Thanks 97LARIAT18, can anyone else follow up on what he said. Could he be talking about the ABS sensor, or are there any other sensors on the brakes, I have have my brakes disassembled and do not remember another sensor, but I could be wrong.

My father is having the same problem as you. Did you ever fix this problem or figure out what the cause was? Thanks
