1-2 inch lift

I have been reading some of the question/answer messages pretaining to raising suspensions, I want to get a 1.5-2.5 ince lift. I drive a 98 f150 4x4 flairside and I want to raise the back with some leaf springs, to get some height and addid payload and try to level the front with the torsion bars. Is this OK to do? any other methods you can suggest? without spending more than $300-$350. Also how will this effect the ride.

Thanks

Thumbs up Body lift

Sounds like a body lift is what you're looking for. You can usually get them for $150 and put it in with the help of a few friends if you don't want to pay to have it installed.
