2" vs 3"

I have a 1997 with the front raised with the Fabtech springs which have worked great for 75000 miles. Since these gave me a 2" lift I was thinking a 2" body lift would be all I would need. I only want to 285's. has anyone done this combination either with springs or spindles, or most just straight 3" in body lift

I'm pretty sure you can fit those without any kind of lift. I just put 33x12.5x17's on my Expy this last Friday with no lift. And yes they do make a 2 inch body lift, but they aren't as popular.

Why would you want a 2" over a 3". Your gonna have to mod your fan shroud and your streering column (excluding 5.4L's), so why no go with the 3". I agree with the previous post, you should be able to clear 33's with no problem, but I don't know how good it will clear them.
