Question Greasing Factory Ball Joints...

I have a 97 F150 2WD with 92k on it. Just replaced all four tie rod ends, slip yoke and u joints in a quest to find my elusive front end shimmy. Ball joints appear to be as solid as a rock. I keeping seeing threads concerning greasing factory ball joints with "needles" though. Can someone help? How is this done and where do I get the materials? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks a lot.

Being that I'm not the mechanic type, YET, pictures would be nice if available. Oh, by the way, ALL of the work that was done to my truck, I did thanks to y'all's write-ups. Keep'um comin'!!!

Thanks Again.

The needle is an attachment for your grease gun. I bought one at Checker Auto Parts for $3 or $4, can't remember now. You pierce the rubber boot and inject grease into the boot.
The next option is to buy ball joints with a grease fitting.
