Hey, D don't know if this will answer your question or not, but there are a lot of lifted trucks from the forum on here. Check the signatures and stuff. MEEK

There are a couple trucks in the photo gallary with 39.5's on them.
They look REAL GOOD!! I've decided to wait until next spring to
lift my truck. I'm looking into a straight axle conversion so I can
run 39.5x18 M/T's. I have a PA body lift and don't want to get another set of rims and tires next spring cause I want to be taller.
Yeah! I'd check out those pictures, hope it helps ya a little bit.

Cool

Thats a hell of a good question. Ive seen maybe 4 different trucks with 7" or 8" of lift that have ran that size. Last night, I was just fooling around and measured my 35's that I have with 7" of lift and there is maybe 2 spare inches when the wheels are at full lock....I haven't touched the torsion bars, so I could get an extra 2" of lift out of those, but it would put a lot of stress on my cv joints....So the bottom line is...I dont know...Id rather someone else be the guinea pig, instead of me!
From my experiece of having 7" of lift, it would be pretty darn close. (wheel backspacing and offset would come into play Im sure)

I'm running 39.5's with a 10" suspension and a 3" body lift, clears well and turns without rubbing. Awesome combo.
