Lower Ball Joint-- Help

Has anyone had a lower ball joint that was mushroomed out? It's one of the two holdups working on the driver side at the moment. Any tips or anything that would help get it out? THanks

What are you working on? And could you explain the issue a little better? A photo would help.

I was trying to get the lower ball joint out. The top of ball joint had mushroomed out and wouldn't press out. I was finally able to get it out today. The other issue is when I removed the strut the leveling kit that was installed left the stud and nut behind. I'm in the process of installing Rancho quick lift, new lower ball joint, uca, tie rod ends, sway bar link on both sides of the truck.

Tinypic says your signature image is no longer available.

Roadie was asking for your truck details - model, year, etc.
